About the show

I was born In Sask. and raised in the lower mainland of BC. I've moved around a lot and lived in western Canada including Alberta for a while but there is nothing like Northern BC. I've lived in Fort St. John now for over 6 years and love it here. I'm into music, sports, video games, sports, movies and did I mention sports? I'm a gamer there is nothing like turning on the old Xbox 360 and having the tunes blasting. My favorite music you ask? Well, thanks for asking, I like a little bit of everything including every song we play on the Bear. If you're wondering what kind of show you can expect, well I will be playing Fort St Johns best Rock ,hit you up with rock news about your favorite bands, what's happening in the sports world and maybe even have a special guest or two stop by from time to time

Derrick Hand will be on the Bear from 2-6 every week day as well as weekends 12-6 Saturday and Sunday.
