Nuclear Options in the Peace

The Peace River Regional District is waiting to back from Peace River North M-L-A Richard Neufeld. The board says it wants to know why Neufeld has taken the position not support nuclear power production in BC. Board Chair Karen Goodings says the board is not necessarily in favour of going nuclear. But because it's used in other parts of the country to produce isotopes, she'd like to look at the options. Goodings says she would like to receive more information on the topic before taking a formal position on the topic.
