The Fort St. John Hospital Foundation received some great news Wednesday afternoon, as the North Peace Savings and Credit Union donated 100 thousand dollars towards the purchase of a CT Scanner. Fundraising efforts have continued over the past months to reach the goal of 1.3 million dollars. So far 400 thousand dollars has been raised, or 31% of the required funds. Although there is still a way to go, the hospital foundation is confident that the CT Scanner will soon be in use at the Fort St. John Hospital and Health Centre.
