Fame and fortune have different impacts on different people. Some, when they’ve reached that level of super stardom, are so affected by the pressure to consistently deliver, that they buckle and fade into obscurity. Others take that pressure and utilize it, turning out hit after hit until they’ve given all the best parts of themselves to their music, and all that’s left behind is the ego. Such is the case with Oasis. Though they’ve accomplished much in their career, including entry into the Guinness Book of World Records for “Longest Top 10 UK Chart Run by a Group”, and album sales of over 70 million copies worldwide, it all takes a backseat to the way they group presents itself.  July 26th2000Oasis are forced off stage at Switzerland’s Paleo Festival after being pelted with bottles and cans, prompted by the arrogant and provocative behavior of lead singer Liam Gallagher. His brother Noel once referred to him as the angriest man you’ll ever meet, and likened him to a man with a fork in a world full of soup. Prior to all the hits and antics they would later become known for, the song that made them a household name withstands the test of time.
